Mr. Schardong has over 20 years of quality and compliance experience transforming healthcare outcomes on a global scale. He has proven expertise in leading quality teams overseeing all product programs, including full scale manufacturing, clinical development and commercial initiatives. Most recently, he held several senior leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson in quality systems and regulatory compliance where he was responsible for end-to-end quality process and strategies for building and operation of applications and infrastructure across supply chain, manufacturing, R&D, quality systems, data platforms, medical device and emerging technologies. He was responsible for supporting health authority inspections, worldwide independent audits and monitoring of J&J companies for compliance, and engaged with high-risk distribution centers to drive quality and compliance remediation efforts. Prior to this, Mr. Schardong held roles in regulatory compliance at Ethicon Endo-Surgery and quality assurance engineering at Cordis and C.R. Bard. Mr. Schardong holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Florianopolis, Brazil and an MBA in Technology Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
